Job Description

The Pawtucket Red Sox operate in a modern 10,000+ capacity stadium.  The Stadium Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for keeping McCoy Stadium clean and presentable for approximately 600,000 people who enter the ballpark on a yearly basis. 

 

Hours Required:  Game and non-game days, nights and weekends.  40+ hours per week

 

The position of Stadium Maintenance supervisor is a hands-on position.  It requires the ability to be organized and to prioritize between a multitude of projects taking place in and around the stadium.  Applicant must be self-sufficient and self-motivated.  Applicant must be able to perform sustained physical activity.  Applicant must have some knowledge of cleaning, repair and maintenance techniques.  Applicant must be able to lead a team as well as take directions from coworkers and supervisors. 

 

The position of stadium maintenance supervisor reports directly to the Vice President of Stadium Operations.  The Stadium maintenance supervisor works directly with the rest of the operations staff and concessions staff in the upkeep, cleaning, operation and maintenance of the ballpark and concession areas, indoors and outdoors.

 

The stadium maintenance supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of seasonal employees in the clean up of the facility before, during and after each game or event.  The stadium maintenance supervisor will be responsible for hiring, training and scheduling the seasonal employees on the clean up and maintenance crew. 

 

Applicant must be available to work all of the PawSox 72 home games plus any additional events held at the stadium.  Nights and weekends required.  Start date no later than March 1, 2018.

Work Environment Very fast paced, must be able to handle multiple tasks and duties and stay even tempered.   Applicant must be available to work all of the PawSox 72 home games plus any additional events held at the stadium.  Nights and weekends required.  Start date no later than March 1, 2018.
